About Bible Trivia Live
Bible Trivia Live is a free, live trivia game you can run for any group — a church social, a youth night, a Bible study, or a family game night at home. One person hosts. The questions show on the big screen. Everyone else plays from their own phone.
Why we made it
Most Bible trivia nights take a stack of index cards, a whiteboard, and someone willing to keep score. Bible Trivia Live takes the paperwork out of it. You create a game, your group joins with a short PIN or by scanning a QR code, and the game handles the timer, the scoring and the standings.
The point is simple: help people enjoy God's Word together, in the same room, at the same time. Winning is fun. Talking about the answers afterwards is usually the better part.
Who made it
Bible Trivia Live was developed by Paul Mazzapica Sr., author of Solid, and a fully dedicated follower of Christ who is part of the Countryside Christian Church community in Clearwater, Florida.
The game is a personal project, built and looked after by the person who wrote it.
What it is
Free to host and free to play. No app to download and no account to create. Players open a link in their phone's browser, type a display name, and join with the PIN or QR code.
Each game runs ten questions drawn from a bank of more than 1,000, with two chances per question and points for answering quickly. Hosts can show the game on a TV or projector, or share it on a video call. If someone's connection drops, they reopen the link and their name and score are still there.
The heart behind it
Scripture is best approached together. A trivia game isn't a sermon and it isn't a substitute for reading the Bible — it's a reason to gather, to laugh, and to notice how much is still to be learned. If one question sends someone back to a passage afterwards, that is the whole hope for it.
